This combo includes the gong of your choice, the Eternal Present Gong Stand, and a traditional Chinese gong mallet.
The Eternal Present Gong Stand is made from a hardwood, in a hardscrabble neighborhood in Pakistan. It is carved, cut and stained with the strains of both muscle and spirit, and the body and mind connection works to create that delicate ladder, spiderweb thin, where we climb closer to eternity and the embrace of the omniscience that we so long for.
We have paired this great stand with our favorite 16" Chinese gongs. Each Chinese Gong is produced by hand in China using traditional artisan methods.
The Sun Gong, what we at Gongs Unlimited call the Solar Flare Gong, is a less traditional Chinese Gong than some of the other styles. It's a more recent design created by Chinese gong makers and is available to all gong sellers, so we felt compelled to put it in the Traditional section. It is basically a Wind Gong, but with concentric bands of lathed and unlathed circles. The unlathed parts control the crash and splash, less than a Wind Gong. The rings concentrate the tones and it does not open
